About Collet Consulting Group
Bringing knowledge and innovation to fire service
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Akron in 1997 and began a career in boiler testing and optimization. I joined the fire service in 2002 and was drawn to the technology behind pumps and fire ground hydraulics. Since then I have worked to being methods and technologies used in boiler testing to the evaluation of pump and attack packages for the fire service with the goal of educating fire fighters on the importance of hydraulics.
As a member of the Ohio Fire Chief's Water Supply Technical Advisory Committee I work to develop effective and efficient methods of water supply in the rural and urban setting. I have been published in Fire Apparatus Magazine, presented at FDIC and am the lead instructor for Basic to Advanced Pump Operations at BG State Fire School.
